Typically when you walk into your local dollar tree, you expect to see some low budget advertising banner for a seasonal item like infant swimmies, pool noodles or maybe some Halloween decorations. My local dollar tree is advertising their fine Ribeye Steaks for, you guessed it $1. Don’t forget, this deal is only available while supplies last.
Now I’m no meat connoisseur, but after a bit of googling, I feel like I’m close enough and there’s not a chance in hell that’s real meat. According to topratedsteakhouses.com — The ribeye comes from the rib section of a cow, how ironic; and is known for “An abundance of marbling, ribbons of fat that melt into the lean as it cooks, delivering that rich beef flavor.” I imagine that in the dollar store ribeye, there are ribbons of steak that melt into the fat as it cooks. There may be a product review in the near future, but probably not.
I’d be surprised if supplies lasted until the next time I go back.
