As we have agreed upon before, the food at your tailgate is going to be just as important as you proving that you can shotgun a beer faster than any other J-O in the parking lot. That’s why we are going to be posting some great recipes to take your tailgate “Lights off Missionary” to “Vinegar Strokes on your Tongue Exotic!”
Our first recipe is simple, yet delicious. This requires little care. Throw everything together, throw it on the grill for a few minutes and enjoy. Any belligerent caveman can successfully pull this off…
Foil Pack Shrimps
What you will need:
– Shrimp
– Aluminum Foil
– Lemon’s
– Salt
– Butter
– Old Bay Seasoning
(Optional – Andouille Sausage, Corn on the Cob, Red Potatoes)
Directions:
– Lay out a strip of Tin Foil
– Place a hand full of shrimp on the foil (as well as Optional Items if you are using them)
– Season Shrimp with Salt and Old Bay Seasoning
– Place 3-4 Lemon slices on top of the Shrimp
– Place 1 Tbsp of Butter in foil as well
– Fold up foil and seal well (May need to place a second sheet over top)
– Place on the grill under medium heat for 6-8 Minutes (Turning about half way through)
– Remove and Enjoy!
